Lore of the song:

The clan of Khynvekar was perhaps the most mysterious of the Meslen ethnic groups. They were the first settlers of the land, but, per tradition, they lived only on the island's northwest mountain plateau. This region was constantly wracked by frigid Arctic winds and completely uninhabitable--except for Khynvekarenik. They carved gigantic fortress cities called karkylik out of the mountain stone and lived in them by the thousands. With their expertise in technology, they built elaborate life-support systems to keep themselves alive in the depths of these castles. Some of these karkylik survived for millennia, but not all were this fortunate. One in particular succumbed to a plague only a few decades after being constructed. Wary of the disease, its neighbors left it to the elements, a frozen tomb for the victims inside.

This is Frozen Fortress.
